Progress Report

Migraines, sick children and house painting....... yuck lol
I would so much prefer to be sewing! I did get my eagerly anticipated Threadbear package though, Di Fords Mystery BOM, Mountmellick!!!

I made a start on it and here's what I have so far.

I have also finished a few blocks on a little appliqué sampler quilt that is just gorgeous.

They are super small blocks and finish up really quick. It's given me a chance to use some other more country style colours as well. I'm loving this one right now.

Till next time.
Keep on stitching,
Kel x

  1. Thread ear really knows how to choose fabrics! Great start with your first block. How small are the small blocks?

  4. Everything is gorgeous in this post. Love what you're doing in Mountmellick! Those hexies are so great. Don't you just love Lori's patterns. I'm working on one too - Anna's Garden. Must get back to it. I like how she lets us personalize them - yours with initials - mine with date.

  5. These are gorgeous! I haven't done much needle turn applique except for Sunbonnet Sue. These are so inspiring.
