Mid Month CatchUp

This month has been a busy one! Where has the year gone already? I've been happily stitching my stonefields BOM, am up to month 4 now, just finishing the last block of Month 3. This quilt has been amazing, it truly is a special quilt and well worth the money if your inclined to buy it. I have never loved a quilt quite as much as this one. It just ticks all my boxes!

On other fronts I'm up to stitching the first border on the Di Ford mystery BOM, the next border which is applique, is a knock out!
Also been sneaking in some sewing on the bird block for the CWBQ and the bias stem borders on my Rotherfield Greys. It's slow going as I hate bias stems!

I bought Gail Pans a merry christmas garden BOM as well. This is a knock out quilt and I'm hoping to have it done by Christmas :)

I also managed to make a mini from the last quiltmania magazine.

My Mums rag quilt came home for a visit and a wash! It was one of the first quilts that I ever made ;)

And this little beauty, is going on my list as soon as Stonefields is complete!
Karen Cunninghams, Sundial Sampler! Too gorgeous, just a WoW quilt

And that's what I've been up to since last month !
And three kids and house work and cooking......   ;0)

Till next time.
Keep on Stitching,
Kel x

  13. Hi, Kel. Just found your blog and am so inspired by your work. Your little blocks are gorgeous. Can you tell me what size they are? Really like all of the light backgrounds for the applique work, which I must say is very impressive. Hope you find this comment at such a late date. Judy
