New Year, New Quilts!

I'm Hoping everyone had a good Xmas with their loved ones and got lots and lots of much needed Fabric!

I did mean to post a few months back, but life keeps getting in the way. That happens doesn't it.

So without further ado, I would like to share with you my new project for the year.

Anni Downs new quilt, Natures Journey.

I Also joined the SAL for this quilt over at http://stitch-a-long.blogspot.com.au

Here is my Christmas Wishes Stitchery so far, to satisfy the January Req's for the SAL.

I also purchased another beauty........

What's not to like about this quilt?
It has dresdens and Tea related items, I'm Sold!!

Ive been cross stitching a fair bit, thanks to my lovely facebook friend Lisa ;0)

I'm working on a blackbird design at the moment, I love their patterns.
I fell in love with cross stitch instantly, and have been stitching madly since November.

On a more Quilty note.....

I finally managed to get all my blocks for Stonefields Quilt in an order that I liked and sewed them altogether!!

There's so much work in the borders, I fear it might take a while. I've been making hexies like crazy.
The geese are all cut and ready to sew.

Here she is, ready for her borders.

Well that's about it from me

I wish everyone all the very best for the New Year.

Keep it Stitchy Ladies ! XoX !

Till next time,

  1. Hi Kel
That post sure packs a punch - I really enjoyed my time cross stitching but found that patchwork sort of pushed it aside...Love the Stonefields quilt - that is the first one ive seen completed - looks lovely .
And - love the background fabric for the angel...

  2. I love your Stonefields quilt top - just beautiful. And your cross stitch is lovely.

  3. Your Stonefields quilt is fabulous. I only have about 40 of my blocks made but I am working on the hexagons at the same time. They seem to be taking forever! Can't wait to see yours. Love Gossip in the Garden too.

  4. Beautiful work. I really like your Stonefields quilt center. Lots of beautiful fabrics.
